Tuesday, March 07, 2006What's so special about being a physics major?haha... first, you get to enjoy having a little class as if you're back in your sec sch days.. haha.. about fourty people in a core module class and the smallest one that i'm having now is an 8 person class haha... which implies that basically, everyone knows everyone.. wahaha.. that's certain something that you can never find in other majors such as life science and mathematics. hee.. Moreover, you get to play sports with the profs! Isn't that cool?! If you've always been having the concept that all profs are very strict people and won't really talk to students other than acedemic issues, then scroll down to have a look at some of the photos taken during the physics staff and student games - organised via the NUS physics society.. Introducing Prof. Ong.. nice nice prof... had a nice chat with him last time with sh and somehow, I don't mind exchanging my life with him to experience what he had been through... the experiences that he had was so cool!!!!   Can you imagine, he's of near retirement age and yet he's still so healthy and fit plus, he's so into research that Mastermind and I even spotted his car parking in the carpark 3 on SUNDAY! what a prof! Next up! Prof Sow! My boss for my UROPS programme wahaha... a very fun and nice prof to work under haah.. always full of crazy ideas for us to try out and always ready to take in students under him. He even has student from sec and jc working on our research equipments! Isn't that cool? Imgaine ten years down the road and you ask him how many students has he taken under his wings? I bet he's already lost count of them haha...   plus... the PHYSICS MAJORS at the game wahaha...   sucre Frozen on 8:34 PM
